Single layer on transferred substrate
Monolayer hBN has a very small Raman cross-section, so Raman signals of this material are of very low intensity (compared to that of graphene, for example, or exfoliated multi-layer hBN)
Each sheet is vacuum sealed in a clean, inert nitrogen environment. Secondary packaging under positive nitrogen atmosphere, in a moisture-proof, light-proof, static-proof cleanroom bag, preserves the material between uses.
Store sealed, at room temperature, away from light. Open in a clean environment immediately before transfer.
